English Conversation In Daily Life Activities - Conversation is an absolute must occur anywhere and anytime possible at the time again at home, outside the home, at friends, schools, offices, markets and so forth because every human being can not relate well without the occurrence of a dialogue, therefore everyone needs conversation. Conversation is an activity that is done two or more people. in other words the same conversation with the dialogue.

Conversations on the market

Ratih      : Good morning Meri. I think it is nice for us to cook something for our lunch.
(Selamat pagi Meri. Saya pikir itu bagus bagi kita untuk memasak sesuatu untuk makan siang kami.)

Meri      : Good morning Ratih. What food do you want to cook Ratih?
(Selamat pagi Ratih. Apa makanan yang kamu ingin memasak Ratih?)

Ratih      : I do really want to cook sayur asem. What do you think about that Meri?
(Saya benar-benar ingin memasak sayur asem. Apa pendapat kamu tentang itu Meri?)

Meri      : That is a good idea. Do you have all the ingredients?
(Itu adalah ide yang baik. Apakah kamu memiliki semua bahan?)

Ratih      : Let me check it. Mmm, some of the ingredients are available. But I need some others like corn, peanut, garlic, ginger, and soy bean. I think I have to go to vegetable market.
(Mari saya periksa. Mmm, beberapa bahan yang tersedia. Tapi aku butuh orang lain seperti jagung, kacang tanah, bawang putih, jahe, dan kacang kedelai. Saya pikir saya harus pergi ke pasar sayur.)

Meri      : Ok Ratih. I will wait here.
(Ok Ratih. Aku akan menunggu di sini.)

Ratih     : (At Vegetable Market). Good morning miss, I want to buy corn, peanut and garlic. Are there available here?
("di Pasar sayur-sayuran". Selamat pagi miss, saya ingin membeli jagung, kacang tanah dan bawang putih. Apakah ada tersedia di sini?)

Market : Let me find first miss. You can sit here for waiting.
(Biarkan saya mencari dulu mba. Kamu bisa duduk di sini untuk menunggu.)

Ratih      : Okay thank you sir.
(Oke terima kasih Pak.)

Market : Excuse me miss, I only have corn and peanut. The garlic was sold out. May be you can find in another place. By the way, how many corn and peanut do you want?
(Permisi lewatkan, saya hanya memiliki jagung dan kacang tanah. Bawang putih sudah habis terjual. Mungkin kamu dapat menemukan di tempat lain. Ngomong-ngomong, berapa banyak jagung dan kacang tanah yang Anda inginkan?)

Ratih      : I want 1 kg peanut and half kg of corn. How much does it cost sir?
(Saya ingin 1 kg kacang dan setengah kg jagung. Berapa biayanya Pak?)

Seller     : 1 kg peanut and half kg of corn are Rp 20.000.
(1 kg kacang dan setengah kg jagung adalah Rp 20.000.)

Ratih      : Ok, this is Rp 20.000 for you miss.
(Ok, ini adalah Rp 20.000 untuk kamu.)

Seller 1 : Thank you very much. You can find garlic ginger and soy bean in other place in this market.
(Terima kasih banyak. Kamu dapat menemukan bawang putih jahe dan kedelai di tempat lain di pasar ini.)

Ratih      : How can I go there miss?
(Bagaimana saya bisa pergi ke sana?)

Seller 1 : You go forward from here and turn left.
(Kamu maju dari sini dan berbelok ke kiri.)

Ratih      : Okay thank you very much for the information.
(Oke terima kasih banyak atas informasi.)

Seller 1 : You are welcome.
(sama-sama)

Ratih      : Good morning miss. Is there any garlic here?
(Selamat pagi mba. Apakah ada bawang putih setiap di sini?)

Seller 2 : Oh sure miss. How much do you need?
(Oh tentu mba. Berapa banyak yang kamu butuhkan?)

Ratih      : I need 3 kg of garlic. How much does it cost?
(Saya membutuhkan 3 kg bawang putih. Harganya berapa?)

Seller2  : The price of garlic here is Rp 10.000 per kilos. So if you need 3 kilos you have to pay Rp 30.000.
(Harga bawang putih di sini adalah Rp 10.000 per kilo. Jadi, jika kamu membutuhkan 3 kilo kamu harus membayar Rp 30.000.)

Ratih      : Here Rp 30.000 for you sir. How about ginger and soy bean? Do you have some?
(Ini Rp 30.000 untuk Anda pak. Bagaimana jahe dan kedelai? Apakah kamu memilikinya?)

Seller2  : How many of those do you need miss?
(Berapa banyak dari mereka yang kamu butuhkan ?)

Ratih      : I need 1 kilos ginger and 1 kilos soy bean. May I know the price sir?
(Saya perlu 1 kilo jahe dan 1 kilo kedelai. Boleh saya tahu Pak harga?)

Seller2  : The price of ginger is Rp 5.000 per kilos and the price of soy bean is Rp 7.000 per kilos. You  have to pay Rp. 12.000 for your order.
(Harga jahe Rp 5.000 per kilo dan harga kedelai adalah Rp 7.000 per kilo. Kamu harus membayar Rp. 12.000 untuk pesanan kamu.)

Ratih      : Yes sir this is Rp. 12.000 for you sir.
(Ya Pak ini adalah Rp. 12.000 untuk kamu Pak.)

Seller2  : Thank you very much miss. By the way may I know what food do you want to cook miss?
(Terima kasih banyak mba. Ngomong-ngomong Boleh saya tahu apa makanan yang Anda ingin memasak mba?)

Ratih      : I want to cook sayur asem. Any idea for additional ingredients sir?
(Saya ingin memasak sayur asem. Ide untuk bahan tambahan Pak?)

Seller 2 : What ingredients do you already have?
(bahan-bahan apa yang Anda sudah memiliki?)

Ratih      : I already have garlic, corn, soy bean, ginger, and peanut.
(Saya sudah punya bawang putih, jagung, kedelai, jahe, dan kacang tanah.)

Seller 2    : Hmmm I think you have to add cabbage. The price of one cabbage here is Rp 5.000 . How many do you want to have?
(Hmmm Saya pikir kamu harus menambahkan kubis. Harga satu kubis di sini adalah Rp 5.000. Berapa banyak yang ingin kamu beli?)

Ratih         : Oh yes, I really forget to buy it. I only want to have one sir. This is Rp 5.000 for sir and Thank you for reminding sir.
(Oh ya, Saya benar-benar lupa untuk membelinya. Saya hanya ingin memiliki satu pak. Ini adalah Rp 5.000 untuk Pak dan Terima kasih untuk mengingatkan Pak.)


Seller     : You are welcome. Have a nice cooking miss.
